Experience Angier’s History Through Pictures and Words
The old Angier School building is gone and the new one is rising from its ashes. It’s a perfect time to pause and reflect on the rich history of Angier. Join us on this journey told in photographs and oral history. You will experience the artistry of photographer and Angier alum Benjamin Korsh and the words of the Angier community, past and present, captured by Waban journalist Lauren Paul. Special treat: Angier teachers, Lauren Comando and Ann O’Halloran, will talk about the history of Waban. Suggested donation of $15 at the door.

NewTV will be holding its first annual Teamwork Trivia Challenge. The event will consist of two hours of trivia, beginning at 7:30 pm followed by an after party with a raffle, DJ and dancing until 11:30 pm. Guests can arrive starting at 6:30 pm to enjoy appetizers and desserts from local restaurants, including Baker’s Best and 3 Squares Needham.
Funds raised from this event will support NewTV’s scholarship and internship programs. Former NewTV interns have gone on to successful careers in their chosen field. Many have attributed some of that success to their time at NewTV.

Would you like to learn to knit? Do you know the basics but are ready to move beyond a scarf? Or have you finished a couple of projects and are ready to learn some new techniques and become more confident? Register now for a small (9 students), adults-only knitting class taught by an experienced teacher:
In this class, beginners will develop a strong foundation of skills so that they can continue knitting many different types of projects. You’ll learn how to: cast on, knit, purl, create a border, read a pattern, identify and fix common mistakes, and bind off. More experienced knitters can expand their skills to cables, lace knitting, chart reading, and/or socks.
