Newton Little League and the Horace Mann PTO are partnering for an afternoon and evening of fun. The AA, AAA, and Majors all star games will be held at Murphy in the afternoon, followed by a movie outside on Murphy field! Come see “The Perfect Game” with the whole family. Wally from the Red Sox will be there as well as food trucks, and refreshments.
The opening ceremony is at the Coletti-Magni Park at 393 Watertown Street, beginning at 11:30 am. The event is held rain or shine.
The Mayor of Newton will be attending and presenting awards to local businesses and organizations. The event will have fun activities for families and kids with free entertainment and activities. Food vendors will be available, too.

The 5K is back! Parents and children are encouraged to start the morning off by participating in the family-oriented Village Day 5K sponsored by Whole Foods. $25 per adult, $10 per child. T-shirt included if you register before June 1st. Awards go to top three male and female finishers: adult (19+), high school, middle school and elementary school.
