Registration is underway for December vacation workshops, for grades K-6, at the Watertown Children’s Theatre.
Workshops are offered in the morning and afternoon, with a supervised lunch from noon – 1:00pm.

Due to the overwhelming demand of the morning Time for Partners classes, Newton’s Office for Cultural Affairs has created a later session: Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:30am – 1:15pm. Time for Partners is an art & music class for children ages 18 months to 3.5 years old, with a caregiver.
New class runs Feb. 3 – June 6.

The Watertown Children’s Theatre is still accepting registrations for its winter musical, Pirates of Penzance, now open to grades 4-9. Join WCT to sing, dance and act through this classic, comic operetta!

Knitting and Crochet Club

Are you an expert with knitting or crochet needles, just learning, or want to learn? Join us the first Thursdays of every month. We have crochet hooks and yarn and the know-how to teach the basics. You are welcome to bring your own project, share ideas and conversation. Refreshments will be served. Open to ages 10 and up.
Newton At Home (NAH) has had a fantastic turnout of volunteers for fall leaf raking for its members. School teams, church/synagogue groups, neighborhood families (moms, dads and kids) are busy these fall weekends all around Newton! The NAH members are so grateful to see this outpouring of help! More groups will be trooping out until all the member requests are filled.

“How to Be a Woman”: Parenting Our Daughters Through Adolescence is a peer-led discussion, support and activist group for Newton mothers of tween/teen daughters who are interested in figuring out how to best empower, support and protect our girls.
