cuSTEMized free STEM event

You are invited to a wonderful STEM event hosted by The Innovation Institute.

cuSTEMized: If you can see it, you can be it!
What would you like to be when you grow up? A doctor? A scientist? An engineer? Come imagine, explore, and color with cuSTEMized at this fun-filled, hands-on learning, and fundraiser event! Learn about the science of colors! What is a prism? Why does a rainbow appear when it rains? Have fun with coloring pages featuring different science, technology, engineering, and other cool careers. Every child will receive a coloring book featuring different STEM careers.
-Make a personalized ebook about yourself as a veterinarian, agronomist, meteorologist, and more.
-Meet and hear from real scientists studying how do brains grows, how to cure cancer, and other scientific topics.

Summer Writing and Adventure Day Camp in Boston

At Summer Ink, campers engage in exciting arts and sports activities, take field trips throughout Boston – and write about their experiences. Follow and support the Ligerbots

February has been a busy month for the LigerBots! The 2016 build season ended on February 23rd when they bagged and tagged the robot but the team is still working on the second robot and updating the code. When Multiple Kids Equals Multiple Needs

Strong Roots Counseling is now offering a four-part series: When Multiple Kids Equals Multiple Needs.

Every parent of multiple children knows that each child enters the world with their own
temperament and needs. When one of those children’s needs falls outside the box of “typical”, balancing your needs as a parent, as well as the needs of your children can be a challenge.

Join other parents of multiple children who have at least one child with more complex needs than the others in a four-week series. Gain support and learn tools and strategies to find a place within of greater confidence and calm to carry you throughout your parenting journey.

This series is facilitated by Cindy Kaplan, MA, PCI Certified Parent Coach who has been
working with parents and families since 1995. She has a private parent coaching practice, leads a variety of parenting workshops, and is an expert on parenting children with special needs. Cindy is a mother of three, ages 17, 14, and 8, two of whom have special needs.

This series is $300 per person and $500 per couple, and will be held at Strong Roots
