Looking for student tutors

Aristotle Circle Peers has recently opened a branch in the Greater Boston Area and they are eager to start building a strong network of tutors! They are looking to recruit high achieving (minimum GPA of 3.7) students to tutor and mentor peers of all ages in K-12 subjects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for High School Students!  Tutors can augment their own academic skills, pick their hours, get paid a great rate, work as a positive role model for students whom they tutor, and build a great resume for college with tutoring others!  If interested please apply online at http://peers.aristotlecircle.com or if you have any questions please email Wendy Rush at wr***@*************le.com or call Wendy Rush at 617-283-4892.

Tutor available

A math and science tutor with a BS in Electrical engineering working on her masters in Biomedical Sciences has been tutoring high school and college students for more than 15 years.  Currently tutoring many students from Newton South, she knows the math and science curricula pretty well, and is available to tutor all levels of Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (including honors and AP).

The program is structured to tutor your kids online using an engaging, organized and interactive system including Skype, an online whiteboard and a Penpad, and she has had great success with it.

Offering a free session to try and see if your student is comfortable with it and if they like it (most of them love it) and found it helpful, the sessions will continue.

Please email fu********************@***il.com to set up the introduction and free session. References are also available upon request.

It is one of the few organized basketball programs that offers leagues for kids ages 6 – 18.  Each league is structured to provide the right amount of teaching and support for the specific age group. The teams for each division are balanced by age and ability to make for a competitive and enjoyable experience for all.

You can register for elementary and middle school basketball leagues by visiting the website here. The deadline for registration is November 22.
