“Meet the Author”

Parents, Children and Teachers Are Invited to “Meet the Author” at Understanding Our Differences’ Family Book Event. Join UOD to welcome Kimberly Brubaker Bradley to Newton! She will discuss and sign her award-winning middle grade novel, The War That Saved My Life, a story of triumph against all odds by a girl with a physical disability, set during World War II. Patti Karam, Library Teacher at Horace Mann Elementary School, will be our event moderator.

College Admissions 101

NGBA is a recreational league for Newton girls with fun for beginners and experienced players alike! Games are played on Saturdays for all grades, starting December 1st and continuing into mid-March; for Grades 3-8 practices are for 1-hour on one evening during the week (Mon-Thurs). You will be able to select one day on the registration form that you are NOT able to practice. Otherwise practice times will be assigned according to coach availability. There are no weekday practices for Grade 2 and High School. The Grade 2 program is focused on a fun, learning environment.
