Newton at Home – Volunteer Leaf Raking 2012

Newton at Home is a non-profit, membership-based organization that supports older adults who wish to remain living independently and safely in their Newton homes. Once again we are organizing a leaf-raking effort between October 1

5-December 1, 2012. We are looking for families, grandparents with grandchildren, teenagers, and youth groups to commit to one two-hour time period to rake leaves at the home of a Newton elder. You pick the day and time for raking that is convenient for you. Rakes and bags have been donated by Swartz hardware in Nonantum and will be delivered to the raking site. Please contact: Julie Plaut Mahoney, Ph.D., Coordinator of Volunteers, vo******@**********me.org or 617-795-2560 to sign-up and for further information.
