Newton Girls Lacrosse (NGL) is dedicated to providing Newton girls and their families a community based developmental lacrosse program. This year they’ll celebrate our 20th season!

NGL is the only Newton girls lacrosse program with opportunities for all Newton girls in grades 1-8 to play lacrosse. The league encourages girls at all ages, regardless of experience, to join the program and learn lacrosse while meeting new friends, being active and competing.

TEAMS – There are typically about 200 girls in the program. The program offers travel teams for grades 1-8 and also additional select teams for girls in grades 5-8 in the Founders Girls Lacrosse League.

PRACTICES and GAMES – In past years all grade levels have practiced at Weeks Field in Newton Center on Mondays and Wednesdays. Practices start in late March and end in June. In addition, the program also uses both outdoor and indoor turf when the spring weather creates challenges.

Games are played on Sundays for all grade levels and Friday nights for the grade 5/6 and 7/8 select teams. NGL – Come Play!
