Do you have a passion for engaging children and adults in the joys of community farming and outdoor education? Do you love to buy and eat local produce? Are you a gifted communicator, manager, and leader? Then you might be the new Executive Director of the Newton Community Farm!
In this newly-created position, the Executive Director will drive the mission and provide oversight and implementation of the programs of the Farm. NCF provides locally grown produce through a variety of distribution channels, educates the public about the sustainable use of land and other natural resources, offers community events throughout the year, and has volunteer opportunities for children and adults. The new leader will manage a dedicated staff, drive fundraising and represent the organization to the community at large. The ideal candidate is an accomplished manager with a passion and skill-set for community outreach.
Key duties include administration and operations, strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, community outreach and events. The position reports directly to the President of the Board of Directors.
