During the week of February 15th – 22nd, NewTV will be holding a Short Film Challenge. Each team of students will receive guidelines for their film during a kickoff event at NewTV on February 15th. All work on the film will be done during that week, since they will not know the parameters until the kickoff event. The top three films will be screened at a special event in the NewTV screening room and they will be featured during the Newton Festival of the Arts in May. This is a great opportunity for Newton high school students to express themselves, have fun, and produce something they can be proud of and include on they resumes when they apply to college.
