Born out of comic strips in the 1930s, comic books became increasingly popular with GI’s during WWII and have grown and developed in the 80+ years since they first appeared. Teens ages 13-17, come to a workshop on Tuesday, February 19 at 3:30 pm at the Newton Free Library to learn about the history of comics and cartooning, and participate in a how-to workshop/demonstration on techniques and
tricks for storytelling. The program will be held in Druker Auditorium.
