Please join an important presentation about understanding child sexual abuse. Gail Sommer of NCSC’s Child Assault Prevention program and Lee Doyle, of the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, will present a short film and lead a discussion.
Topics addressed will include how to recognize warning signs that a child might have been abused or that someone might be at risk to harm a child, and everyday actions that can help to make kids safer. Please note that while this program is appropriate for parents or caregivers of children of all ages, the discussion is geared to adults. For more information contact Gail Sommer at gsommer@ncsweb.org.
This workshop is free and no pre-registration is necessary. Co-sponsored by The Newton Partnership, Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC), and The Child Assault Prevention program (CAP) .
