For grades 7-10. Our programs offer opportunities for teens to express and develop their talents and artistic ideas learn techniques and gain important communication and critical thinking skills. Teens participate daily in two classes: ceramics class including wheel throwing and handbuilding and Mixed Media class including any medium of their choice such as drawing, painting, 3D, wire art, collage, printing, illustration, photography and 2D. This is a great opportunity for teens to make their own art, build their portfolio, learn about art history, new trends, and meet other teens. Classes are led by experienced New Art Center teachers and professional artists. Must bring lunch or parent/guardian must sign a “Permission to Leave the Premises” form.
